Today’s blog post will be about helping you get those creative juices flowing. We will be doing a simple color splash with a black and white background. To start we select a simple street template.

Let us begin by importing an elephant from the object menu. You can open the object menu by clicking on the grid at the bottom right. 

After we have imported the elephant, let us change the saturation on the elephant to give it a reddish look.

​I will also be using the hue slider to add some final touches to the elephant. 

Now for the final addition, we add a black and white filter to the background.

The first style of filter in the Neon Family is called Cyborg. This filter is a little intense with the high contrast pinks and sky blue. It is a really great to give a retro cyberpunk vibe. 

​The second style is called Dystopian. And as the name suggests, a dystopian filter gives a dark and gloomy effect to the picture. The oranges are more prominent in Dystopian. 

​The last style is called Neon. It is a kind of mix between Cyborg and Dystopian, blending the shocking pink with oranges of the dystopian. It does give a look of something being illuminated by neon lights.
